AVAILABLE SUMMER SEASON POSITIONS
We are currently hiring security personnel for the upcoming 2021 summer camping season. The position is ideal for someone who would stay at the campground in their own RV. Position involves helping guests, site and building security checks and other duties as assigned when office is closed. Lions Campground, located in the heart of Red Deer, combines the beauty of a park with the convenience of the city. The Red Deer River provides a striking backdrop to the campground, and campers are welcome to enjoy the expansive trail system that winds its way along the scenic waterway. Lions Campground is just minutes from the wealth of stores, cultural opportunities, and golf courses in Red Deer, so urban opportunities abound for people travelling through the region.
New information Re: COVID-19
The campground is open from 1 May to 30 September. The safety of our guests and team members is of the utmost importance. Tenting is now open and we will have Washrooms open in the tenting area, we ask campers with fully contained units to please use there facilities in their unit, please contact us for specific details. Laundry facilities are open for registered quests. Campground recreation opportunities include trails, and a private entrance to the Trans-Canada Trail/river system! Playgrounds are now open. For sites with firepits, firewood bags are available for purchase by contacting the campground office during regular hours. In following all guidelines and requirements from AHS we have the following in place:
Practice good hygiene: wash hands often, cover coughs and sneezes and avoid touching face.
Maintain social distancing of at least 2 meters between individuals in public places in the campground.
Visitors must register at the office when visiting registered guests, gatherings to be kept at a minimum
All public gathering restrictions apply to all areas of the campground.
Any guests in self isolation (quarantine) must follow all regulations/requirements that are in place.
All areas in the campground that are not your campsite are considered a public place.
All requirements in place are subject to change as required and any changes made are effective immediately.
